|  gearing advice for scx10 and stump humper motor
Scx10 on 2s lipo Need some gearing advice. Seem to have not much wheel speed. Geared at 15/87. Not a clue what the sweetspot of this motor is. Went from 27t to thie stump humper and its a dog. Am I way undergeared???? May try a 3s and see how much it improves but I got 2s lipos for the truck already. Any feedback appreciated. Last edited by discgolferlee; 06-17-2013 at 08:51 PM. |

a 3s should boost up your speed, and you can also try some different pinnions

Why would you hump a stump?? Better than a cactus I guess... I would just go to the stock Axial 20 tooth pinion and go from there. 15 seems really low. |

I would say that you are under geared. Try going back to the stock gears and check motor temp then adjust from there.
