I think it just makes water sheer off, I wonder if treating my esc and submerging it would block the water

Corrosionx is similar, i have used it for elects, seems to work fine, and no goop... they have also done a dip of an old nokia bar phone, but obviously can't encourage that.

Yep, I snagged some at lunch. $20 and they had it in a kiosk in the paint department. "thumbsup"

He said the circuit board would be "protected for months." The calculator made it hours and the iPhone 30 minutes. Which is it? What about surface wear and abrasion?

Yeah Rustoleum picked them up, this month it was scheduled to sell to consumers they sell one thats a liquid and it goes on clear does the same thing it's call Ultra Ever Dry check that one out a little expensive but you can't go to Home Depot and buy it you have to find an online vendor and purchase it from there.
