Default got a question about rear wheel steering

I put a second servo on my Exceed 1/16 rock crawler, to make it rear steering, and I tried to use the Traxxas 2.4 Ghz receiver cause it has two channel 1's, its works some what, the servos buzz, and are kinda glitchy, and can't be trimmed out. but if you use the Exceed receiver and one servo at a time. the receiver only has one channel #1,and they don't buzz and can be trimmed out. So the question is. Can I make it rear wheel steering by buying, one of those cables that splits two servos to one receiver input, I think I say them at CKRC Crawlers in Reno Nevada. which is 30 miles north of me. maybe I'll go get one tomorrow if you guys think that would work, I am too cheap to buy a multi-model 3 or 4 channel radio with steering channel, cause I got 6 rc and the receivers are not cheap, I looked at a Futaba 3pk or 3pl not sure but the receivers were $80 a piece, pass, I'll stick to one radio per model. but really would like to make rear steering.
