Another thing on my Christmas List!
I've been looking for something like this for ages but couldn't find one.
Just a Q.
Would you also need an external BEC?
Thanks

I just looked at prices.
I think it may have just jumped off the list.
$190. That's quite a lot of money for me....
Maybe a CC MMP in a waterproof case'll have to do for me until I'm old enough for a mortgage!!!!

The internal BEC is listed as 7VDC 5amp, could handle some servos, may not be enough for a servo a bit over 200inoz, especially as the input voltage goes up.

EDIT, reading the manual....here it does not indicate if you can set "instant reverse", it also seems iffy on the drag brake crawlers normally use.
There is a brake setting, not sure how good it is.

If you could find them in stock I believe Holmes Hobbies will sell you a waterproofed Mamba Max Pro for something like $160.

I was wondering the same. So I made me own solution. The vxl does have a sensor port. I used it with a sensored tekin motor, however it tends to cut out while crawlers and my rig would roll back at times. Found that very annoying. So I bought a tekin rs pro and used liquid tape on the esc and motor and it works perfect. I did it about two years ago and it still runs fine.
