Default Need some electronic suggestions

I picked up maxstone 16 managed to charge up battery to see what all was wrong with it. I got it dirt cheap at this point it's pretty much a roller. The transmitter is trash the electronics have multiple shorts the servo is busted up.

This thing was used and abused but the chassis itself is in great shape.

So I wanna retrofit this with a whole new electronics setup including battery

If you don't want to break the bank, then I would suggest going with a brushed system. Brushless, your looking at $150+. Brushed as cheap as $45+ depending on how reliable you want.
