Default Fxr radio calibration

So I dunno what's up but I can't get my fxr to calibrate with my rx tx, all the lights are solid, I dunno if it's the rx tx I'm using its a HPI TF-40, I even hooked it up to my hot wire and it won't even accept the setting change, I just installed a fxr about 3 months ago no issues, so I'm a bit lost.

What did you do before you tried to calirate?

Did the ESC die? Is this why you were calibrating?

Are the LED's on solid, or flashing? Flashing looks like "no radio signal" based on this... http://www.teamtekin.com/manuals/FXManual.pdf
They do not appear to have "all LED's on solid".

Did you move wires around (RX connections, resolder ESC leads, etc?)

Did you check the TX batteries?
Did you try another rig battery?

I would also just reset it and start over.. bad esc means NO lights.. lights are a good thing, no matter what they are doin..
You can reset it by holding both buttons down.. check other options first, but its an option.

Charlie III- I got it for a build for the sale ads a few weeks back for a build so I'm just not getting the electronics in it, and all the lights are solid, it's got a new capacitor on it and everything is fresh soldered on, maybe ill try the rest see if that works.

Ahhhh.....so this is a 2nd FX-R? I didn't get that from the 1st post, sounded like you had this installed for 3 months and are now having an issue.

So this is a used FX-R and you are testing it out? Are you sure the HotWire is correctly oriented in the ESC?
Are you sure the ESC was correctly connected to the RX (dark wire towards outside edge of the RX)?

 holding both buttons is a Hard reset.. it doesn't have a choice..

How bout a pic of ur wiring and soldering? Where its plugged into the rx, ect..
I'm soldering a diff motor on my sporty right now, I'll be checking situations to get all the lights on solid.

What are your radio settings. I realized that when I was trying to calibrate mine it wouldn't work because I had my rear ESC trimmed down to 90%. After setting it back to 100% on the radio all went flawless....

Still nothing, but it's weird because the lights are not actually lit up, I was able to select threw the esc with the incr button and when I did that it lit up but it seems like the lights are on but dim, could it be the bec or my radio it's self, it's actually starting to frustrate me.

Yeah the motor is hooked up, I didn't buy it from tekin though, got it from a guy on here, I asked him about it and he said it worked fine but I don't know what to think

For 55$ you can send it back to tekin without a receipt..

Did you try it without the bec and running the esc to the rx directly?
