|  ESC 1/2 speed in reverse
Ive been seeing this issue for a while but only think about posting when I run the truck. Im running an Outcry ESC and love it. Zero problems excepts one weird little one. I have i connected to a sealed can 35T RC4WD motor. When I hit reverse it moves maybe 1/2 speed or less then that of forwards. I rarely even gives enought power to back up a slope. The ESC does not have any calibration what so ever. Im running a hacked GT3B, are there any settings that I can use to help fool the ESC into thinking reverse is being pushed further then it can be? |

Seems like an ESC programming (not calibration) issue. Most ESCs have 50% speed in reverse as the default, and it can often be altered through programming.

Hmm sounds like ESC programming (or glitching??) issue? Have you ever attempted to adjust the Timing on the motor? Maybe Tx batteries or bad antenna connection? Could be lots of things. If I shake my losi 2.4 controller back and forth, my truck jerks in reverse. Yay electronics! Last edited by jp0160; 07-03-2013 at 03:11 PM. |
