Default what is the point of this?

i finally got a wraith. has a tekin rs esc and a roc motor. this capacitor i think it was plunged into the receiver. i will be using my gt3c on this. is it still needed? thanks

Think of capacitors as tanks of electricity, when voltage is applied the Cap fills to capacity & chills.
When a draw on the power exceeds the supply you get glitches & other stuff. The capacitor on your Rx is like backup power for those times when you need a bit more.
They call it a glitchbuster.
I use one all the time.
It is likely unnecessary with a 10a BEC or something like that but they can be a nice helper to your ESC's BEC when its supplying all the power to your Rx & servo.

Exactly this.

Novak sent me a bunch when we were working on the glitching of the new Rooster Crawler ESC. I have found that they are not needed with a CCBEC but they also don't hurt. I have put them in other RCs such as my boat as an extra measure to prevent glitching issues.

ok got it. dont have a bec on there yet. so ill use it on the flysky receiver. can i plug into any channel? wouldn't matter right?
