sensor wire water proofing??? I just picked up one of the new Tekin 412 ROC motors and was wondering what is the best way to protect the sensor wire plug at the motor from water???? |
Dialectic grease in the sensor port and then plug the wire in. You really should take it apart and water proof the whole thing if you plan on sinking it. |

Re: sensor wire water proofing??? Get some Corrosion X and dip both sides of the sensor board in it. Let it dry overnight and reassemble. |
Re: sensor wire water proofing??? Is there any other products like Corrosion X I could use on the sensor board in the motor, the closest place to me I can find to my here in Oshawa, Ontario Canada is like 60 some miles a way...... |
Re: sensor wire water proofing??? Rustoleum Neverwet is a new product you might be able to find at your local hardware store. It's a little more complicated though. It's a two step process. |
