Default Led lighting

I have had several people ask me and a couple of them from here about hooking up led lights and wanting to know some "how to" stuff on them. I don't know a lot except for the stuff that I run, which I will post up later, but would like to get something started to help other people out. So if you know how to wire leds up for different voltages inline separate using resistors or no resistors or what ever please post up. Also if you can tell what cmd leds put out how much light or post pics of how much light yours put out please post them. Any lighting tech is greatly appreciated from me and others. Thanks

Nice write up. That covers everything I was wanting to post plus some. Funny thing is I have never seen it and when I did a search for it I couldn't find it and neither could a couple of the other guys I crawl with. I guess it should be made into a sticky to make it easy to find.
