Sidewinder SV3 replacement

just wanted to post this up, i bought a sidewinder SV3 to have for the ontario recon G6, (7/13/13) on the trail it started cutting out, we determined that it was a loose wire, specifically the positive lead off the esc.

this ESC was 2 days old at this point, so this last monday 7/15/13 i called castle about a replacement, i was sent to voicemail and about 2-3 hours later got a call back.

the guy apologized for what had happened to the ESC, he then said he would ship out a new esc today 7/16/13. he asked for my credit card info, not to charge but to have on file. then he said "make sure to completely test the new esc out and make sure it is working before sending back the old one".

i love castle products and there warranty and service

on another note i put in my old sidewinder sv2 tonight and it just blew up, literally it puffed and threw up a huge cloud of smoke in my living room, i can still smell the burnt plastic, but it was from 2011, on 3s so idk about that.

Castle Creations customer service is second to none. I had a new motor that was bad. They sent me a new motor in 3 days with a prepaid envelope to send the bad motor back. I told the rep I bought it 2 weeks ago and have the receipt I could send him. He said that's ok, I trust you. Very cool company. I wish they would come out with some crawler stuff."thumbsup"
