| Waterproof Winch
Hey guys, how do you guys waterproof your winches? I remember reading on the Winch instructions that it was not waterproof. And when they make a point of saying that, they normally mean it... So it is possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

there are multiple ways to waterproof... from simply wrapping things up in balloons or condoms, dipping the entire thing in plastidip or liquid etape, or covering the board and components with conformal coating. | |

Ok great, so the winch itself can get wet. The controller is already in the waterproof container. |

I de-shrinkedwraped my winch controller and sprayed it down with Corrision-X. Then reheat shrunk it. Not sure how water proof it will be but probably better than not doing anything.

If you are running one of my winch controllers, it's already water proof.
