Savox 0251 glitching with one rx but not another

Gents,

I have a new Savox SC-0251mg in my new Wroncho build (well not a Honcho body, but we'll get to that later). Anyway, servo seems strong enough with 1.9's and the 2.2's that I also run, but the issue I have is that the servo glitches and causes the throttle to glitch as well when I use a particular RX. If I swap an identical RX (FlySky 3 channel) in there's no glitching.

Now I know what you're going to say: use a BEC. And I certainly plan to, but what has me bugged is why does one RX glitch and the other not? When I plug in a Futaba, Hitec or Solar into the "glitchy" rx, I don't get any glitch. It's only with that Savox.

Another thing to note, when plugged directly into the RX it's running off of ESC BEC. I'm using a Castle Sidewinder v1 (yup, old school, but works with the 55t motor I have) and I know the BEC voltage is 5v @ 3A.

My plan this weekend is to do the y harness bypass and get a CC BEC and set it to 6v so the servo is happy, but I'm still wondering why the particular combo would cause the truck to glitch.

you r below ur amp range is the only thing i can figure mine did the same thing (i have the 1231sg) until i wired directly to my bec

It's weird, I installed the BEC today and the glitchy RX became not glitchy. I guess that servo is just on the edge with 222 oz-in of torque and needs the BEC. Anyway, all is well.
