| BEC has me confused
Hey everyone, I recently bought a SCX10, and while I was at the hobby shop I had them install a CC BEC. I know it's default voltage is 4.8v, but if want to give my servo 6v I turn the the BEC up to 6v with Castle Link correct, this way everything is getting 6v, servo, receiver, etc? How are people powering light bars with 11.1v if they plug into the receiver also? Or am I missing something and they have a separate wire for the light bar? |

Default voltage of a stock CC bec is 5.1...You are not missing anything as far as the additional lights. If they require/desire more voltage you will have to wire them in bypassing the bec(direct to source voltage if large enough).
