| Bad glitch
I have a sv2, on 20c 3s, Traxxas 12t, hs 5646wp servo, and an fs gt3b. When I try to turn my scx10 left, the trick goes crazy. It's like I lose connection, and there isn't a fail safe on it. And it's only when I turn left. I tried to adjust the end poisons, but the servo went berserk before even turning it. At first, I thought it was the receiver, so I bought a new one. Now I'm thinking I need a bec. I've been told that I won't need one with this small of a servo, but now I'm second guessing. Any suggestions on what it might be? What capacity (mah) is the battery? A 20C 500mah is low on "punch", a 20C 5000mah pack is fine. An external BEC is needed when you get to ~200in oz. Maybe pull the servo arm and move the steering linkage full travel left & right to make sure it's free moving. Then try and see if the servo arm is binding on the servo case, I've had a few do that and it can overload the servo. |

besides getting the bec... I would recommend getting the link cable as well... that way you can make voltage changes. And if you have the CC esc... even more better... as you can make adjustments to the esc. I had that glitch as well. The bec completely cures that issue. |

I should probably clarify, the only hobby shop within 20minutes of my house that actually carries bec's, had the one i want ( cc bec 10a) was out of stock. so I'm getting a different one. And also,b I'm running a hoosierdaddy led kit off of my rx. Sent from my ZTE V768 using Tapatalk 2 |

I had a crazy glitch with my GT3B last weekend. Shortly after plugging the battery in, it was like the rig had a seizure. Steering went full right, motor was about half speed forward for about a second then reverse for about a second. It did this sporadically about 5-6 times over 2-3 hours of crawling. I plan to reset the neutrals & fail safe and recalibrate the ESC to see if it changes anything. However, I did run it for about an hour alone earlier that week with no glitching issues. There were two Axial radios and a Futaba 4PL present when the glitching happened. I run an AE-2 with a CC BEC, HS-645, 27t Axial motor, 2200 30C 2S lipos. I plan to do another test run today, alone. We have our club's monthly run tomorrow. I'll see how it reacts after redoing the settings. All that to say I had glitching with a BEC. My rig acted like it could have been loosing signal or getting heavy interference. I'll report back if I can figure out what caused the glitch. |

Here's the scoop. I hooked up the bec to the servo, and the rx using a y harness. I disconnected the red wire from the esc, but I'm still having the giving problems. The servo is a bit smoother now, but it still glitches.... wtf is wrong with my truck!?:banghead: Sent from my ZTE V768 using Tapatalk 2 |

Found out that I bound the rx over the old rx. So I made a different channel. The glitch has been cured Sent from my ZTE V768 using Tapatalk 2 |

I've not identified the cause, yet. Friday, I re-calibrated the ESC, set the neutrals, and reset the RX fail-safe. Re-calibrating the ESC helped with the neutrals because they were really out of whack before. When I took it out to test it, it did the same as the weekend before--turn right and go in circles. I then re-bound the RX and radio. It worked fine after that. But, I was alone during that test. Saturday, we had our monthly run. When we headed to the trail it did the same as before, right & circle. It did it a couple more times, but turning the radio off seemed to stop the glitching. However, after lunch, it did it again and that episode ended my day. I tried everything I had done before, but couldn't get it to drive straight or stop going even with no radios on back at the parking lot. The ESC lights were green blinking and yellow which mean partial forward throttle and control (or lack thereof), respectively. Now I'm thinking the actual receiver is defective. Next step is to change receivers, redo all the programming, and test again. |

Is any one else using an fs gt3b in your group? Maybe if you all use a different channel? Sent from my ZTE V768 using Tapatalk 2 |

Most 2.4ghz radios skip around within the RC frequency range, some do it better than others. | |
