Default airtronics mx sport good, bad, opnions

I jus picked up a used airtronics sport controller with receiver and was wondering if their good controllers. Has 3 channels which I was wanting for maybe either 4ws winch or maybe a two speed tranny for my ridgecrest. Let me know what y'all know bout them.

Read the manual, most likely you will need a 3 position switch for channel 3 (ideally with EPA's) for 4WS or a winch.

Just something for you to look for to answer your own question.

Does it have all the features you need? Is it comfortable for you to operate? It's not a good radio for me but it might be exactly what you need. You can answer that question yourself.

As Nigel stated & I hinted at, does the radio specs say it can do what you want (3 pos 3rd channel)?
If it does, then how does it feel?

If the 3rd channel won't do what you are looking for, then who cares about anything else about the radio??

I know of a few people running different Airtronics radios, they're happy with them, but not your model.

Its a good radio. I just dose not have a 3 position third channel! I have one. I also thinks it kind of heavy. I use it on my slash now.

Quick google came up with a video that someone modded it to 3 pos 3rd channel..... Don't see any info about it...... A lot of unanswered questions about how to do it tho.
