running HOT 8/

after about 30mins on my scx10 im running 20/87 with 15t and i noticed that there was lil brown burns on my leads from motor connects to esc wires am i running to low of motor or ratio??

ive got a heat sink on my motor too

Try putting a 14t pinion on and go from there...20t sounds too high for that low turn motor you're using.
