Default Looking for batteries

I am looking for some 3s batteries for trailing. I run traxxas connectors so if I can find batteries with them thats just a bonus but not a huge deal. I want something with a 4000 to 5000 ish milliamp range but I do not want the huge physical size of my 5200 speedpack hard cases. Also not looking to break the bank cheaper batteries would be fine with me. Any help is appreciated.

they come with Deans plugs: Value Hobby R/C Hobby Store (Addison, Illinois): Batteries - Power

You could swap to Deans, it's a much more universal plug.
I used to run Traxxas but after running with other people, I switched to deans so we could swap if ever needed.

Or, you could make an adapter.

I know they have an iffy reputation, but I have been having great luck with the Turnigy batteries. I am running a 2S 5100 saddle pack on my truck and have had no problems at all. I have even had a couple times where I forgot to unlug it after running it close to dead, and they sat overnight. When I went to charge them they were low voltage. I hooked them up on NiMh mode at .1 amp and watched them until they hit 3V and then charged them normally. I have done this twice, and they are still working great. Disclaimer: I know this is NOT a recommended practice with Lipo batteries!

I have been charging them at 2C, 10.2 amps, and they don't even get warm at all. For a cheap battery I can't complain at all. I think I paid $30 for them.

I've run a lot of different brand lipo's. For all my crawlers I run turnigy as well. 2200mah 3s. Some 40c some nano tech 35-70c. Only have one out of 10 that has a weak cell. After cut off in the crawler it measures around 3.20. The other cells in the pack are 3.40 or so. It always charges back up and balances to the other two cells. Very happy for the price! You would have to put a traxxas style connector on tho.
