Default Dewalt motors

Can anyone tell me what the pros and cons are from the 14.4v and 18v motors. I'm looking to power a large 30" tow vehicle and want lots of torque but decent speed as well.

You might find some info in the summit section.

your best bet would be to go with the 18v motor and put it in a summit 2 speed so you can have torque and speed

Or buy a motor that isn't the equal to a tamiya silver can. It's just really a larger version.... Non rebuildable..... Hard brushes...... Machine wound.....etc etc.

Imho If you're on the cheap..... Or have one there its a good plan..... Long run and actual longativity.... Bad choice.

Is there a reason you recommend the 18V. Most the info i see is based on the 14.4V and have rarely heard anything on the 18V.

The 12 volt motor is 1650kv, 14.4 volt motor is 1350kv and the 18 volt is 1100kv

Found on web based search....
