| axial scx10 with stock esc...do i need a bec ?
Hi... I have a completely stock scx10 rubicon with a 2s 5000mah lipo. Ive found a hobbywing bec lying around and have been reading loads of stuff on here and it seems I might need a bec !! So, as stated, I have found a BEC, do I need to install it on my axial or not ? I have looked on the hobbywing site and it seems pretty straightforward.. ie remove the red wire etc etc... Do I really need to bother though or does the stock set up have a built in bec ? I have also got a Savox sc0251mg high torque servo which I was going to install so this is obviously prompting me to consider the bec.... Thanks for the advice !! No harm in installing it. I think the stock ESC in the SCX10 has a 1 amp BEC, and the hobbywing is 3 amps. I'd go for it -Corrupt |

if your going for a power hungry servo like a savox then i would i run a wp hitec servo with no bec and i would go for a higher amp bec aswell just incase the 3a isnt any good
