TQI and CC BEC ?????

I just installed a CC BEC on my ESC and connected it to my TQI receiver. Steering in ch1 and esc in ch2 with red wire out and CC BEC in BATT. When I connect the battery with power switch off bec green light on solid and receiver light on solid red. Turn on esc and Tx nothing happens no steering and motor just wants to take off.

1-Turn TX on 1st, turn off last....always.
2-Is the RX bound to the TX?

The ESC power switch only controls power out of the ESC, the external BEC is powered when the rig pack is plugged in, it bypasses the ESC switch.

If this is a new radio or RX, make sure the RX is bound to the TX, then calibrate the ESC to the RX.

I do have it bound to the rx but when it is bound it is showing a red light instead of a green and i have steering but now fwd and rev. if i disconnect the bec the rx light goes green and still no fwd and reverse. the first time I hooked it up with out the bind and the motors were whining and the motor was trying but now i don't even have that.

maybe plugged in to the rx backwards??

... and don't forget to calibrate the ESC to the radio as well.
