| LRP X11 Sensored...
I should be receiving a new-to-me crawler this week and am trying to figure out what motor and ESC I should put in it. The truck has TLT axles and is running an RC4WD R2 2-speed transmission. Here's my question. I have an LRP X11 13.5T sensored motor that I ran for a short time in my SC10. Would this be too much motor to put into this truck? I will need to buy a sensored ESC, but that's not an issue. I plan to do mostly trails, but also some decent crawling (will be set up as a 1.9 scaler). I also have an old Novak Rooster ESC and could always buy a 35T-55T brushed. Would the brushless setup work? Or should I just buy a brushed motor? |

What kind of truck is it ? For a crawler 13.5T might be a bit too much wheelspeed. For a rockracer it might be okay, I don't have experience with those. |
