Yes, I think as long as you don't "handle" it too much it will be fine. People make vids where they ring out the tshirt they just coated and it gets wet. For our application it seems great and easy to apply and unmessy. It would be easy to reapply once a year if needed.

I sprayed down my MMP (with Neverwet) and was playing in the mud and water this last weekend, and she's spotless!

Good alternative for water resistance.

I drilled holes in the bottom of my cases for the esc and rx just to let the water flow through.

I would not recommend this product. I coated my sensor board on my motor and my MMP about a month and a half ago. I do not purposely go in deep water with my truck but I like to have the piece of mind. Anyways after taking it apart there was hardly any coating left on any of the electronics. I took my sensor board and ran it under a little amount of water and it DID NOT bead off anymore like it used to when I first sprayed it. Remember, this was after a month and a half. I remember reading a review somewhere that this was the main problem with this product, it simply does not stay on for long. Yes it will work for a weekend but how long is it really effective? Let's just say I have corrosion x on order. You make the ultimate decision with what goes on your rig, I just wanted to share my experience with it. Good Luck!

Shayn

By this way, this is the article where they talk about it rubbing off quite fast. Even though it comes out like spray paint, it sure doesn't stay on like it.

Tragic Flaw

''While it's only been a few days, it seems incredibly unlikely that the coating would last through any continued wear and tear. When we handled the dried, treated items, bits of white, superhydrophobic magic started flaking off after merely picking it up. We thought that it might just be an initial sloughing of excess skin, but it kept happening.

At the end of the session, the water bucket was coated with a fine layer of discarded NeverWet. Same goes for the salsa. And even the USB drive (the plastic of which is included in the materials best-suited to NeverWet) continued to shed off bits of white as easily as its other temporarily waterproof brethren. So while its water-repellent qualities may be a fun—nay, phenomenal party trick, don't expect it to last.''

Shayn, thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye on things. I plan to report any findings as I'm being a bit of a test pilot. I did use about 4-5 coats of he second coat. After every wet run I've cleaned my truck and it appears to be holding up. I'll report if things start flaking off per the article.
