Default Tekin ROC412

Has anyone got one of these wet yet? I really want one but where I run there is a good chance it will get dunked a time or two..

take it apart and dip in some corrosion x..should be fine after that

Also plug the mounting holes that you don't use with set screws

I run mine in water all the time. Dip the boards in corrosion x and the boards only. Also put a bit of dielectric grease on the sensor port and your good to go.

Yup, CorrosionX treatment. You don't have to plug the holes in the front either, unless you completely seal the entire motor up (which would be really hard) water will still get in no matter what.

I did the Corrosion X thing to mine and dunked it a couple of times this weekend at the G6. Still runs like a champ!

im sure it works overall, but i only use corrx on the windings inside the can.

for the sensor i cover the circuit boards with conformal coating, seal up the gaps on the sensor side cover with rtv, and use dielectric grease on the sensor plug.

its been awhile now since i treated my first pro4, many many submarines and underwater floggings with no issues.
