|  small lipo
i have the gmade r1 and im running a novak rooster with an integy 55 turn . that monster battery stick is ugly as heck in there. iv seen saddle packs but that's 2 battery's , i just want one small 2s lipo that has a decent time of play. any suggestions or what are you guys running on your front axle ?

For playing around I use 1200mah mounted to the upper links. For comps, I use a 450-800mah axle mounted.

The 450mah packs are Gens Ace, the 800's are the same I believe and my 1200's are Losi/Exeleron.

Not sure if the 4200 mah shorty battery packs from Turnigy are too big for being axle mounted but I love to use these in my smaller scaler.

I use between 1600-2200 mah batteries. Around 45-50 minutes run time and you can stick them most any where.
