Hitec 7990 pretection HELP!!!!

Hello all! So have a fire breathing, snot bubble inducing 7990th that i just put in the xr10. She's dialed at 7.4v, pumping out 611oz's. BUT, i can't find anyone who makes any sort of guard, or protection for this thing. And that's not cool on an xr, cuz they put that servo out on an island! I had one from ckrc, that i thought i could modify, but turns out its not even close! not even vp's website lists their armor as big enough. So what gives? Any suggestions?

Some of the vendors are making them from CF. I'm sure they could cut one a little bigger to fit your servo. Can't remember off hand who's doing them sorry. Check the vendor section and shoot them a PM.

I think Crawler innovation does that too in Alum...

Or you can always make you own with a bit of alum angle or "T".

Oo this is fun

Sometimes i think fools keep their eyes closed while typing this question. The answer is YES! It's ALWAYS YES! A thousand times YES! Never no! Always yes! Cheesh, dam a.d.d. kids.....

LoL returning the favor and yes go to Troy winnerone for the lightest and best servo armor, even for that very unnecessary servo. Rowdy if ur not worries about weight.

Favor returned haha.
