Default Tekin motor with MMP in wraith fail

I installed a tekin redline 13.5 with a mmp and it will only run with the sensor wire unplugged. Is this a bad motor or am i missing something in settings.
thanks for any help.

Do you have the ESC set to sensored brushless mode?

Sounds like you don't have the A-A, B-B, and C-C from the esc to the motor. You must run them this way. If the motor is running backward you need to change the rotation in the esc with a castle link.
