Default motor help cr 35t

i got a tamiya tuned cr 35t motor and when i put it in my scx10 and tried to trun the wheels by hand it felt very tight but its ok with my 27t motor so was wondering is it supposed tobe like this the brush`s in the motor are like new

Check your gear mesh.....it should turn with some resistance, but should not be overly hard.

gear mesh is ok. it seem`s to have some resistance then it will free off again.

it drives ok with the motor aswell no heating up or anything like that i wil say i ahd my mates 35t in there last week but i cant remember if it was the same and i cant get hold of him right now

If the mesh is ok and it drive ok with no heat on motor or ESC, I would say the extra resistance comes from the better motor (ie magnets, winds) from the tamiya compared to the 27t.
