esc / rx issue on losi mrc?

Hi,
yesterday i decided to take my Losi MRC (got it used 2 months ago) apart to change a few things (relocate esc / receiver, remove 4ws, etc)
anyway, all I essentially did was unplug everything and plug it back in.

now:
- the green light on the Rx never turns on
- the esc blinks twice "orange" when i turn it on, then nothing. Blinks red once when i turn it off.
- I got it in "programming" mode once, did the throttle / brake thing, now i cant get it into program mode again. All i can do is cycle through no light / orange / green / no light with the setup button.

what i tried:
- new batteries in Tx
- charge the truck's battery, just in case
- tried it with and without the motor plugged, with and without the Y-harness i have for 4ws

i dont have a bind plug (got the truck used) and no more extra parts to butcher to make one. I really dont wanna spend anything on that truck right now, so any idea is welcome!

and yes i searched and tried some of the tricks i found, no luck.

Thanks!

Pat

Re: esc / rx issue on losi mrc?

It sounds like you are running the stocker rx, but for a bit of help, let us know what you are running as far as the radio, rx and esc.

That said here is an idea. Check to make sure you have the esc and servo lead wires the right direction in the RX. I think the negative is usually on the outside. Then its time to see if you can get your servo to work first. You might simply need to re-bind, which might simply be a trip to the local hobby shop.

yes, all stock.
ok, you have officially made me feel dumber than i thought i already was... i must have had a massive brain fart tonight, as I was 100% sure that the plugs only go in one way, and I of course had them the right way. i guess not.

if i could, i'd delete this thread right now, lol... but it might help the next guy.

it's over, nothing to see.... thank you Rick, i would have spend the whole WE on that :(
