Eiger, brushless, and 3s?

So after running my Wraith with an Eiger and an old spare silver can for a while I was planning on making the jump to brushless. 18.5T motor is already en route and I just now realize the Eiger is only rated for 3s when running brushed, on brushless it's rated for a max 10.5T on 2s. So, my question is, what exactly is going to happen if I try and run the 18.5T motor on 3s? Work just fine, not go at all, fire, dead ESC, dead motor, something I never even thought of?

most the of the time that rating is the lowest u can go the lower the turn the more power it takes to run the motor u should be just fine

basicly what mark said is your 18.5 will be fine. the 18.5 is a lower "turn" than the 10.5

Re: Eiger, brushless, and 3s?

Okay, this is certainly my feeling as well, I was just hesitant because they call out 2s only for brushless. I'll give it a go when my motor shows up.

Editing purely for future refence:

The Eiger will not run in brushless mode on 3s power. It will merely give an error code. On 2s it runs fine, plug in 3s, nothing.
