esc for worm gear
 
Hi,dear crawlmates,im new hear,i install two worm gears in my cheap maisto rock crawler,my next task is fitting a hobby grade receiver,so cld anyone tell me what will b the best for this and how does an esc work in a worm gear? ( I live in India,its hard to get lcc,lnc or axial,only traxxas is available):cry:

The Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) feeds power to the motor, just as in any application.
Worm drives have the issue of low efficiency, so the motor must provide more compared to crawlers with regular cog wheel drives. That's why brushless motors are popular for the Losi crawlers.
Good lubrication is crucial for the worm drives, and they do get warm because of the friction.
