Default Fxr pro on 3s?

I have a Tekin FX-r pro in my scx10, with the stock 27t. The specs say to only run it with a 35t or higher mother. I want to use a 1300 mah 3s. I don't understand how the regular fxr has a 13t limit on 2s while the fxr pro doesn't have a limit, but the 3s limit is the same. What is causing the limit? I saw a upgrade for the capacitor to run up to 4s, so is the capacitor the reason for the limit?
Please help!

I ran my fxr on 3s and a traxxas 21t 550 with no problems. Just make sure you run a bec on 3s and up. You can also upgrade the cap for 4s use if 3s aint enough.

A 21t 550 motor is more in the 540 motor 30-35t speed range. So 3s should be fine. But as said above, I'd install a bec and 4s cap.
