Default Sidewinder "Power On Warning Beep " ?

I just finished smashing together 2 micro Sidewinders, a CC BEC and Futaba receiver.
It is all working well except when I use the front dig I am sometimes getting a small blip of power to the rear motor, anybody else had this issue ?
I am now wondering if it is related to the "Power On Warning Beep"setting, I left it enabled( default setting) but thinking maybe it should be off, a bit of a pain to get to the unit now as its deep in a Chaotic Zero frame and I shortened the leads alot.
Looking for advice before I dive in.

Thanks
Dave

1-Did you recalibrate the ESC's to the RX?
2-The beep has nothing to do with the blip.

Yes

New to brushed electrics but I know with brushless quite often the start up tones are generated by the motor ( my understanding anyway )

Just looking for ideas, would recalibrating again help ?

No ESC, that I'm aware of, have a speaker in them, they all "ring the motor" to make sound. This is why there is no sound with a bad motor/brush or no motor connected.

Recalibrating shouldn't hurt anything.

Do both ESC's have the same firmware version & programming in them?
Are the motors "MOA matched set"? The timing will be different for each motor since one is reverse rotation.

That is what I was thinking with the bell ringing maybe causing the blip, I think I will disable it anyway if recalibrating doesn't work.
I calibrated them individually the first time, is it OK to calibrate with them both plugged in ?
Motors are Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster Sport 45t, not a matched set. I did wonder about the timing with one running reversed.
Firmware is the same in both but I remember if I went with 1.24 or 1.28 , it was a while ago that I did that.

I use V1.28 in my CC ESC's, there are some decent newer versions, but I like what I have.
I do the profile programming in one ESC, then copy it and move to the other ESC.

I usually calibrate both at once, some people have issues with that and need to do them one at a time.

Yes, you need to check motor timing, they are both "timed the same" but one is advanced while the other is retarded.
