I have that exact esc in my wraith. It is the brxl it just doesn't say it I think. I bought mine as a combo (a bit cheaper that way) have a hand wound Torquemaster 35t. Haven't used it yet, been tied up with other things but if it is the waterproof version it will have a clear epoxy on the heatsinks and the "brain". It has a thick glossy feel to it so it is easy to spot. Great esc though. And 35+Wraith+good battery= good speed....but that is a loosely used thing. it is different for everyone.

look on top from the heat sink, you should see some epoxy "spilled" on the heat sink, and also it will cover the lights too (so the lights look a bit hazy).

As for HH motor, Torquemaster handwound 35T is good, but if you really want good speed and smooth start, you can't get pass HH Crawlmaster 14-16T, they are great. I ran Brood Chaos 25T Type GT before with a 2 speed tranny, it was pretty fast as rock racer.

Also if you want to know what series I can cut your searching down pretty quick.
Anything ending in pro=handwound
hand wounds are more expensive than machine wound but are worth EVERY penny... esp. HH motors. THey are buttery smooth and are very powerful. a lot of them are rebuildable so when they stop working you can rebuild them for much cheaper than buying another.
Torquemaster=ummm..TORQUE and lots of it.
Trailmaster=Bashers dream
Crawlmaster=MOA motor and comp
Puller=Pulling and things like 1:14 heavy machinery motors
Pro=Hand wounds
Sport=Machine wound
Team Pro=Team and Comp motors
Heres a link to what you have as far as esc. Holmes Hobbies LLC

I would have to recommend the 13t crawlmaster pro, Team pro crawl 13t, or the 27t trail master pro..

I'm very heavy into the crawl type motors. Extremely smooth, plenty of torque, and the top end wheel speed is Awesome!
Had a 16t crawlmaster pro in my scx on 4s and Loved it..

13t in my sporty on 3s... even geared Way low, 6.22:1, its got it all!

Torquemaster 3 segments armature, Crawlmaster 5 segment armature. 5 segments has best low end control but less torque than the 3 segment (assume everything else is the same). for the wind, you rough multiply the 5segment by 2 to get equivalent 3 segment winding. eg 16T cM will be roughly like 32T in 3 segment.

a 13T CM will be properbly slightly faster then the 27 TM (again assume everything else is the same) but with way better low end control.
