Hmmm well the castle link does what the program on the computer tells it to do, so a computer program designed to override the castle lock outs in regards to firmware could simply make it a normal MMP. This should also work on the other versions of the MMP I would think. I wonder if Losikid could write something up?

Unless you absolutely need 4s and higher they work the same. I picked one up last week. I might grab 1 more before they all get snatched up.

For the vast majority of the time 2 and 3s is plenty, but every time I find a nice open field I like to open my faster RC's up. They go to 5S and I run it in them. My rustler is now 5s capable.... As far as crawlers go I have 2 that use 4s regularly. |

sounds like its getting expensive to hack it, im sure its be designed with some traxxas only software, and no other will work

Has anyone tried to remove the capacitor off of the battery wire with any success. It's kinda in the way. Haha

on mine I had switch the A and B wires with a Tekin 13.5 to get it to work. The speed control isn't labled just has color code on the motor wires coming out of it.

I went ahead and removed the capacitor on the battery wire. Still works just fine, and now I can actually get it to fit in my electronics box.

I will be seeing if it recognizes 4s and 6s this weekend. Im thinking the capacitor on the battery wire is what limits it to 3s. However, I could be way off. I do know that I removed that capacitor without any issues. | |

I'm going to find out Sunday how well it works. We have a scale comp with a good bit of trucks in class 2.

Anyone with the capacitor still on, does the esc light blink while it's powered on? Or is mine just doing that because I removed the cap?

I'll check in the morning. But my water proofing worked great. Used corrosion X. Found out the hard way LOL.

I had to unplug my sensor wire to get the motor to respond. with it plugged in imotor would shutter and not spin. running in "sensored" and tried "smart sensored " programed with Link Losi sensored 13.5 motor |

You need to switch the outside two wires around on the esc to motor connection. That's what my tekin was doing as well until I did this, now it runs butter smooth.
