|  Traxxas ET-3S is basically te same as an MMP
Except its limited to 3S input. They sell for $60 or less on ebay. I have been using one in brushed mode and I hear it works fine on brushless sensored motors.

Yeah, that's been around awhile, and its been known to handle 4 and 5s as well. Haven'theard of 6 but don't see why it wouldn't being it has Lipo cutoff to 6s as well.

Wonder if a CC link will work on it. While I love CC ESC's (as well as Holmes Hobbies ESC's), I'm curious to see if there is an equivalent ESC for a lot less money. | |

I did a google search about it and there is some good things about it. I didn't find anything about drag brake but that doesn't mean it's not there. Some say only 3s only but for me that's fine. I going to do some more searching but looks like I might be selling my sidewinder sv3 for this.

This might be the best esc for the money bar none if you do not mind 2s-3s. Short course esc for sure,

I ran it brushed with a 27T HH HW. It did fine. I swear it had the crawler drag brake setting. Haven't tried BL. Its sitting in my box. Swapped it for an SV3 for the waterproof aspect. May go back to it and move the SV3 to my SCX10. I have too many ESCs and can't make up my mind. |

I run 2 ET-3S speed controllers. One is in a Wraith with a Tekin 412 3100kv that runs 2S most of the time but 3s on occasion. I don't have full drag brake set, but run it about 30%. I run a second ET-3S in an SCX with a 13.5t stock motor on 2s. They are nice ESC's, unfortunately the price has jumped recently because people have figured out that they are a rebranded MMP.

As far as the max voltage, the capacitors that are on the ET-3S look like they are the limiting factor. If you swap them out I'm sure it will run fine. Or, run it like that and when they pop just replace them with higher voltage caps.

I read where someone tried 6s and it wouldn't work. I'm afraid to try it on mine. I'm looking at mine now and it has crawler reverse and 213% crawler full on drag brakes. I used mine brushed with HH HW 27T worked great. I maybe using it with a Novak crawler motor in my wraith. I thought I would contribute |

OK I just put my Novak Ballistic Crawler 18.5 in my Wraith 2 Speed with the Traxxas ET-3S and all is fine. Running 3S, DB is at 70% but my point is that it will work with no hiccups.

Yep I just got one. It does everything a full MMP does except go over 3S on battery. It won't arm on 4s or bigger. If we could figure out a way to update the OS to a normal MMP OS it would probably do 6S.
