Parallel or Series MOA Wiring?

Hope this helps! Be sure to try multiple different wordings when you search on the forums and 99% of the time there is something that will help.

From the esc, solder two wires to the positive post, two to the negative post. Then solder the other end of the wires to the motors. Pretty simple.

in this way

Max amp draw on a fx-r is 104 amps
45 turn hand wound tekin brushed motor amp draw is 100amp.
Two motors is 200amps and well exceeds the 104amp max of the esc.

Are you going to run these on 3s? I can't imagine those motors drawing that many amps. I don't think you ever get close to drawing that many amps even on a smaller battery.

The fxr can run two 45t no problem. Run them as posted above.

Amp draw varies with load and input voltage. Those motors will take a up to a 3s lipo. More volts = less amp draw. Crawling a light rig will not require heavy amp draw unless you wedge a tire and start slamming the throttle to get it out. A high amp draw situation would be if you had a 9lb. rig going full throttle through deep, super sticky mud. As far as the wiring diagrams you posted, I prefer the first.

this is my first brushed crawler setup
every motor have its continues and max amp draw , just want to know that max amp draw in the spec of this motor

the setup your referring is parallel mean the esc will be handling the combined amp draw of both motors and if it exceed the esc it will fry

Use this diagram....

This is no different than running a single ESC, punk dig/servo dig and dual motors. Dual 45T motors will be similar to a single ~22T motor. Specs call for a minimum of 13T for the FX-R.

I ran a servo dig, single Castle ESC and dual 35T brushed motors on 3S for quite a while until I went to dual ESC's and a WantAmix.

Parallel is a better set-up for motor wiring than series.
1-If you have a motor issue, series will stop/affect the whole rig.
2-Swapping to a dig unit is easier if you start with parallel.

There have been many on here that have done this job before with the same parts, so start wiring.

Specs.... about 2/3 of the way down... Tekin - FX Pro Brushed ESC Series

NOTE: You will need to change the timing on one motor as they are likely timed the same way. One motor has to run "reversed" so the timing will be wrong.

There should be 2 small Phillips screws that go through endbell (where the brushes are) parallel to the motor shaft. Loosen the 2 screws ~1 turn & rotate the end bell, then tighten the screws back down.

Read the stickies at the top of this forum section, lots of info about this.

That depends on which way your controller is set up. You'll just need to wire everything up and install them to make that call.

If the front motor turns the correct direction all you'll need to do is reverse the wires on the rear motor. If the rear motor turns the correct...just swap the wires around on the front motor.

That's the simplest way to tell you I think.
