I don't see a wiring diagram. Maybe it's me. :?

No problem wiring cells (batteries) in series. Not recommended to wire packs in parallel. If a cell shorts out in one pack, it could cause the other pack to dump and possibly flame out and/or explode. If one insists on wiring packs parallel, then make sure both packs are identical and are in the same state of charge. Two isolator diodes would make things safer. It is best not to wire RC battery packs in parallel.

I'm taking the question word to word"can you wire 2 battery packs in series and parrallel at the same time"
the answer is NO.one or the other.series=14.4 volts
parrallel=7.2v & double the run time

I didn't want to start a new thread so I brought this one back from the dead. Can I charge two identical packs wired in parallel? If so, it would take twice as long right?

yes, but when one battery peaks, they both stop charging.

You would be better off charging them in series, but make sure they are both discharged fully first.

Boy, I wonder what I was smoking when I thought up this thread? Why the hell would I want to wire a pack in series and parallel at the same time? OOOOhhh yeah, so I could have two output voltages. I could have done that with three battery leads.

Power/Economy switch is for motor wiring, but you could use it for batteries, I guess.

JRH, I meant to give you a hard time about this thread last night...forgot.

BTW, here's an early test of your theory:
