| Spektrum Dx3c Question
Is it possible to use the Dx3c for winch and 2 speed transmission? I ask because I can't find much info about the Dx3c on here except people arguing to get the better hacked tx from someone on here.... The question remains, with all these 3position buttons (5 to be exact), shouldn't it be possible to run a winch and a 2 speed transmission? And if so, how do you go about it with only 4 slots on the rx? multiple rxs? |

good ?, I was wondering something similar... like if you got a 4ch rx could you run the trans on the 3rd and a wireless winch on the 4th? because the tx wouldn't need to control the winch it would just be the port to plug it in for power. but on that note I have my winch running through the tx on ch3 and my lights plugged into the bind port and haven't had any issues.

Without something fancy, a 3 channel radio will control 3 things......steering, speed & ?? Extra buttons "may" allow more options, have to read up on that. I do not believe ANY radio will allow multiple RX's in one rig off a single TX. So...... I doubt you could run 2 3 channel RX's off a single 3 channel TX to get 6 channels. Wellllll......you "could", each RX would be a seperate "model" in the TX, thus you would have to swap back & fourth between models to do more things in a single rig. Model-1 would do steering & throttle, maybe another function. stop the rig, swap models.... Model-2 could do winching & trans shifting. Not sure what the servos would do when you switched between models. |

Sorry, I just had to. PS, setting the "failsafe" in the RX may help a little, but it's still not as good as a radio that has enough channels. [Hacked GT3B/GT3C radio from LosiKid @ www.OverKillRC.com ......] | |

Bah, I'll settle with the Spektrum... At least until I run into this range issue I keep reading about... THEN... I know what I'm getting! |
