Default Questions about Tamiya CR Tuned 35T Motor

Hello all. I have a few questions about the Tamiya CR Tuned 35T Motor. My searches didn't yield the answers I was looking for, so forgive me if I am repeating a previous question!

1. Is the motor fully rebuildable? I.e. not just removable brushes - can the endbell and rotor be removed?
2. Does the motor have bushings or bearings? If bearings, are they rubber sealed?
3. Does it come with capacitors? If so, are they already attached?

Thanks!

Caps are required for AM & FM radios. They are nice for 2.4ghz but not needed (they won't hurt if installed though).

You can ALWAYS remove the endbell & armature (rotors are for brushless..... but similar to a brushed armature).

I'm using a Tamiya CR Tuned 35T motor for my SCX-10 Dingo that do rock crawling 80% of the time. The motor is very smooth at low end with plenty of torque. It's paired with a Castle Sidewinder ESC V1 and my transmitter is Sanwa MT-4. I love it!

Below is a picture attached to my SCX-10.

And to answer your question:

1. I guess not because it uses tabs (fixed) for the housing instead of screws.
2. Bushings
3. It doesn't come with capacitors but have some sort of PCB on it (see attached picture).

Cheers!

-The phillips screw you see in front of the PCB is one of the screws that hold the endbell on. Thus, it's easily rebuildable and likely able to adjust timing.
-Bushings are fine, just a little less efficient than bearings, keep them lubed.
-The PCB is the modern way to do the caps, each little tan part is a cap.

I own a few cr tuned motors and all of them have been rebuilt by me. I have also rebuilt quite a few for the scale community here in the UK.

To tear the can down, I remove the brush housing`s. And then bend the tabs out. Then the endbell can be removed. The bushes can be replaced by r2zz bearings.

The Screw only holds the PCB clamp and screws into a nut located in the end bell.

How long before the bushing needs to be replaced?

Thanks!
