Novak Goat 3s question
 

I have a Goat 3s. I am running a 3s battery. When I turn it on it works for a short period then glitches and all of the LED's turn on and I loose all operation. After I let it sit for a few minutes it all comes back then repeats itself. I do not have a BEC connected and can not find anything about all LED's nor anything that says a BEC is required. Please help.

What rig?
What motor?
What servo?
Did you calibrate the ESC to the RX?

I don't see "all LED's" on.

It is installed in an SCX10 it is the Goat 3s with a 3s 2200 Lipo. Servo is an ALINE 166 oz servo. Motor is 18.5 censored ballistic. Directions were followed to a T. (Multiple times) it has the fan installed. The same issue will also happen if I turn it on and it just sits there inactive. Not sure what all LEDs stand for. It will flicker them then turn them on solid and bam nothing. I touch the speed control and it is cool to the touch.

Does the light change when your hit the trigger forward or reverse ?

The lights do not change after it goes into this funky mode. Nothing happens except for all the lights light up and stay lit.

Sounds like it's tripping into an error... make sure you don't have any wires exposed, and repeat step 5 in the esc's programming guide (one touch programming)

Also note: If you change settings on your transmitter you must repeat one-touch programming.

Novak is pretty chill from what I've seen. They replaced my friends timbuk2 combo that burned up in just under a week and a half.

If you've done everything you can do and it's still misbehaving you'll need to send it in.

I'm pretty sure they'll set you up with something comparable if not better since the Goat3s is discontinued. Hey, you may even get an Eiger Pro! "thumbsup"

That would be pretty cool. I also have a Timbuktu Wraith edition that shuts down. Not sure about there stuff anymore. My Timbuktu is only 2 months old.

I'm not sure, but you may be able to send the timbuk2 in for replacement still, you might ask when you call for the goat. It could be a 90 day period though, Still ask! It never hurts to ask, and the best of luck to ya "thumbsup"
