Default hobbywing 35A-SL 32t/1200kv desent for crawling?

after a long time. lots of mud and water my friends little brothers ax-2 esc gave out. found this hobby wing used for 65 bucks.. dead set on going brushless for some reason. so is it worth it?? thanks

I didn't try it on 3S, but on 2S it cogged terribly and didn't have much wheel speed at all in my CR01. Maybe a touch slower than a 65t? Wasn't impressed. Plenty of settings to mess with, maybe you can tweak it but I never got that far.

ESC was fine, used in on a go-fast with another motor and it's working perfectly.

I ran that, it came with a truck on a trade. It was ok for trailing but sucked a crawling due to chogging but mess with gearing and it might help. But if you wanna crawl brushless you need to go sensored

have heard of some poeple having cogging issues with the lower amp esc and switching to a amp esc and it corrected the cogging issue. Just a thought
