|  novak rooster (not the crawler) throttle profile selection problems
I have two Novak roosters EDIT : THESE ARE CRAWLER EDITION ESC Both have this same issue, which is why I think it's me I'm trying to setup as lipo low voltage detection (cutoff) Profile #1 and 2 are for NiMH ....it will go into these profiles fine Profile #3 and 4 are for lipo ...when I tap the set button to select #3/4 , it just continues to cycle thru #1 and 2 ...will never go into profile #3 or 4 HELP PLEASE !!! I ruined one lipo already with these esc , can't afford to toast another batt Last edited by 5thMOA; 11-24-2013 at 05:33 PM. |

Frikkin Novak looks to have dropped the older manuals from their website. Contact them and raise HELL. If I had access to their manuals, I would be glad to help out, but I don't, so I can't. |

I have the manual ..it just says to tap the set button to cycle thru profiles .. I do so and it flashes once = profile#1 ...then tap set , flashes twice = profile#2 ..then tap set, it then flashes once again going back to profile #1 ...it skips over profile #3 and #4 Called customer service, they said they don't have technician in house to "talk" to , that I have to email him...and he will reply right back to my email ...I did that, no reply in over 6hrs ..:/ |

Finally got a reply from Novak tech Says an amendment was sent out about the throttle profiles There is no profile #3 or #4 Profile #1 is forward/reverse for NiMH Profile #2 is forward/reverse for lipo (with lvd) So I hope there right and profile #2 is gonna for lipo and low voltage cutoff as it should |
