Default Protek RC 170s and 170t servo?

Does anyone have tested these yet? Are these next "must to have" servos for comp crawlers?

Can the specs be true or salesmans talk?

Specially I'm interested if somebody can compare Futaba bls157hv to these new Protek's.

Fark!!! These are fast and Strong.......

Must be salesman talk.... Price ok thou.... Wire seems thin to carry the current... Metal gear?! not Titanium?

Looks great, except the stupid signature on it.

Quite the testimonial. I agree the signature sucks. But i'm intrigued. They (supposedly) kikin out #'s similar to the 7990 i run in the xr, without the attached anxiety that i get when i flip my rig over onto a servo that cost as much as scale rigs i used to run back in the day!

I have been running a 170T on my 2.2s for about 2 months now, and so far it has lived up to its specs. Held up to plenty of abuse too. Plenty of power and quite quick. Comparing it to my 7980 on my pro it is at least as strong, and faster too. My shafty is at 1440g and it can easily throw the rig round when the front gets stuck in a crack or hole.

how have these servos been working for people? I had a Futaba s9751 swapped out for a 170s. Any problems with stripped gears?
