The charge will meanwhile drop from some 50% to 40% of that capacity.

That said, having a battery fully charged and then not used for a day or two is no problems. It's not like it will lose quite a bit of "bite" as a NiMH battery.
You can even have the battery at storage charge (to 50% capacity) and just plug it in for a run (with shorter run time).
If you read exactly what I quoted, the same thing was listed twice (said slightly different), thus my comment.

My "pos" has lasted fine for 3 years. Also with it being cheap I don't worry about losing it.. A good investment I guess. I (or you) could always go to the lhs and ask them to check the battery if you feel the need.[/QUOTE]

I stand corrected, ill have to keep it in mind then

http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-13500XL-74-Pack.htm

If you could even use this in a wraith, scx10 etc how long would something like that last, as far as charge goes, guestimated ?

Also will the c rating in a lipo greatly effect the performance of a trailer/crawler because this bad boy has like 100-120 something like that

Dude, don't even waste your money on that lipo. However, 13,500mah would last a loooong time. As far as C rating, you really don't need more than 30-40C.

MaxAmps=overpriced lipo. The C rating is the discharge rating of the lipo. It determines the constant amps out when multiplied by the mah of the lipo. Here's an example: 5000mah 30C...150 amps out
5000mah 50C...250 amps out
With most lipo's, the amp burst rating is double the constant. As C rating goes up, so does the weight.

So it wouldn't be bad to have a high c rating just not necessary? Also what would be the general target price for a good quality lipo that isn't over priced, and another question would that lipo work fine in a wraith, scx10 rigged for trailing?

On a high mah/capacity pack, the "C" rating is not as big a deal. On a small comp pack (say less than 750mah) then "C" makes a huge difference.

Since you're looking at high mah packs, a 20C is fine, 40C is nice.

Would a 750 mah battery be used for something like a Moa comp crawler or a super class ? And would they be the packs that you have one on each axle Velcroed in ?

A single pack.

In my 2.2 MOA, I run 325mah-450mah 3S LiPO packs, one at a time and I can do maybe 2 courses but usually swap packs after each course.
