Re: pro4 question

I'm thinking about using that hot racing electric conversion transmission so the gearing might be difficult to figure out

I run my hard on 3s... It's never even seen a 2s before.
I also run it with a 2 speed trans so 2nd gear really puts it through it's paces.

gear it as low as you can!
I think 11t is the smallest pinion that fits on the larger output of the Pro4 4000 and then use the biggest spur that will fit in your trans.

I ran 11/56 with a sc4x on 3s and i would run into heat issues. The weight of my rig didn't help, but you just had to watch driving styles.

Tekin does sell a 1/8" rotor for it now. P/N TT2516

Re: pro4 question

I think that conversion trans is 1.6 but that didnt make any sense to me, usually its like 4:1 or such but it may just be written different.

Rick at SS said prob 11t or 12t should work for that setup. The tcase has a little reduction but only like a quarter turn to 1, its from a tf2

I run my 3300 on 3s all day in my wraith geared 12/56. In my exo I run a 4000 on 3s 14/54 and no temp problems at all. It loves it!!!

I'm currently running my 2300kv ROC on 4s. It's nutz enough. Can't imagine what 3300kv/4s would be like.

Re: pro4 question

My 3300 has been on 4s for the last year. No issues yet (with the motor). On the bright side I have almost a completely bullet proof drivetrain now.
