Exclamation Waterproof SCX10 RUBICON!

hey guys so im going to waterproof my truck i already know how to do the servo esc and receiver.. i have some grey areas regarding the battery.. do i need to plasti dip the edges of it? also i want to install Dean connectors.. do i have to dip the ends of the connectors or are they fine with water hitting them? how do i also take off the axials to put marine grease on them. lastly for LED.. do i need to dip anything? or are they fine?

LED's are waterproof. You have to disassemble the axle housings in order to grease everything. Lipo's can go underwater without protection, however I would say to plasti-dip them. Don't worry about the connector. If you want, you can apply some dielectric grease to it.

For fresh water, yeah plastidipping the ends works to keep the terminals inside from corrosion. For salt water, just stay out of it!
