| Feeler - FlySky GT3B Steering Wheel Lift Kit
I wanted to put this out there to see what you guys thought about JC Auto Design possibly offering something like this: It always bugged me that the wheel dropped so far down on these, so I printed this lift kit back in May, and it's held up ever since. This works with the traxxas bearing mod, but would require de-soldering then re-soldering the steering potentiometer in order to install the new pieces, so it's not for everyone. (I am considering a service to have this done for you, but need to figure the logistics out.) As a note, the steering wheel itself is an aftermarket part I installed, the piece mentioned here is what is behind it mounted to the radio body. I can't discuss price here, but I am thinking this would be an affordable option for those that want to get a little different ergonomics and aesthetics from their GT3B. What do you guys think? |

I freakin love GT3b so far but a thought to putting the ch 3 trim and the ch3 button on the hub like the footaba radios would really get it in the game. |

If you could print up something that would allow me to drive one handed like you can with a 3pl or 4pl I would order it right now. Not being able to easily "one hand" it is my only complaint about the flysky radios.

can the thumb reach the steering wheel with this mod ? I must have a short thumb... or the GT3-C design is designed for greater apes With my older radio designs I was able to use my thumb to hold and even maneuver the wheel. But it seems all the newly designed radios ignore us with that short thumb syndrome |

Yes closer to the hand grip. It's not about control it's about relaxing the arms when on a trail ride with a slow crawler. You can drop the arm and drive while sipping on a drink. When it gets tricky then both hands are mandatory.

| Re: Feeler - FlySky GT3B Steering Wheel Lift Kit I would love to have mine set up like this, also. And I have STS (short thumb syndrome) as well so it'd have to be offset a fair distance.

This is an old thread, but did anyone ever figure out a mod so the GT3-C can be used with one hand? I didn't realize how often I steer my 3PL by thumb until I started using the FS. I wonder what things would be like if I invented a thumblonger |
