Default sr3000 problems

SOO, i have been out of the rc game for a little over a year. I have been slowly getting back into it and i was pulling a lot of old stuff out to start playing with it. I am low on receivers and found a sr3000 with the bind BUTTON. well i couldnt remember how to bind it and i found a bind plug and it started to come back to me. so i put the bind plug in the batt slot and then attempted to bind my dx3s. the rx was plugged into an old losi esc which was plugged into a 2s lipo. after i looked up how to bind it i realized that the little blue button was for binding. the sr3000 will blink once very fast when you plug in the esc and then nothing. i think i may have fried it. does anyone have any input.

Default Re: sr3000 problems

this is the only info i could find from spektrum for the sr3000, you dont need the bind plug and hopefully using it has not caused any issues but this is what i found:

1. Make sure the transmitter and receiver are turned off.
2. With the receiver off, press and hold the bind button on
the receiver.
3. Turn on the receiver while holding the bind button.
4. Release the bind button when the LED flashes green.

presumably after these steps you would have to goto the bind setting in the menu and finish of their to successfully get them linked.
