Default Axial AE-2, AR-2, AX-3, Bec, no calibration

Just wired in a CC BEC to my Dingo kit (running all RTR eletronics)
Power on tx, power on ESC (on/off switch removed) by plugging in, it beeps, steering syncs, but won't stop beeping and no throttle sync.

I have the BEC set to 6V just incase it was the RX not being able to take it when I had it at 7.4V)

I've also updated firmware on the ESC and restored defaults to everything

I have tried calibrating the ESC with the TX in both N and R on the throttle switch (as well as full forward and full reverse on ESC power up) but ESC won't sync to throttle.

I have no clue if it is BEC related, but i know it worked yesterday before installing it.

Wiring for BEC is correct, with red wire removed from ESC connector

Thoughts or ideas? Is the ESC dead or motor? If motor, it should still sync throttle, just not do anything, correct?

My situation the RX just keeps steadily beeping, no matter what I do on the TX (and i've also made sure all the connectors in the RX aren't flipped)

Thanks in advance!!!

Try swapping the ESC to RX port 1 (steering) and try to calibrate the ESC to the RX. This may tell you if the RX has a bad port (or, plug the servo into RX port 2 and see if the TX steering makes the servo move).

To calibrate:
TX throttle EPA's to 100%
TX throttle trims (including subtrims if you have them) to 0
May need to tweak throttle deadband (in TX or ESC) a little wider.

If nothing seems to work correctly, try re-binding the RX to the TX.

Swapping the throttle servo connector into steering, steering gives me forward/reverse, so it's not the ESC, but with steering plugged into throttle, it's dead.

So i am guessing it's the RX. I have a Skyfly 8 channel rx (and GT3C) on order, so i guess she's dead till it arrives monday, and hopefully fixes the problem

Thanks for the quick reply Charlie!!

Reading the manual... http://docs.axialracing.com/instruct...structions.pdf
It almost sounds like the RX may be in failsafe mode??

The RX won't beep (no speaker), the ESC can "chime/beep" the motor windings while calibrating the ESC to the RX.

i get a successful bind (RX stops blinking and steering works, but still no throttle and ESC doesn't stop beeping)

It may also be the TX, since it's not registered throttle position, but the wheel gives throttle when the ESC is plugged into the steering channel.

Were you ever able to figure this out? I am having the same issues, however, I have no forward/reverse when switching the throttle and steering on the receiver.

Thanks,
Jon D.

I swapped in a new receiver and it worked like a charm

Cool. Talked with Axial support and they think my ESC is dead.
